VERSION 2.1 HAS BEEN RELEASED!!
You can now play the full timespan of the canonical series, starting from Aegon's Conquest, all the way to decades past the Feast For Crows!
Good evening. Weren't you disappointed when the "Game of Thrones" Mod developers removed the Thousand Islands from the game? Have you ever wanted to raid the seas of Northern Essos as a terrifying, green-looking gremlin-man? Do you want religions to have more flavor and features? Do you want a challenging start on a poorly developed island that has the potential to rule the continent? No? Well too bad, Waluigi Time because I did! This Mod re-enables the Thousand Islands as a playable start while adding rich flavor and religious features to the region, culture, and religion of the Thousand Islands. Included in this Mod are the following mechanics: 1. Added back the Thousand Islands, with full localization and de jure title structure, now with the possibility for more baronies 2. Changed the Fish Gods religion to be worth playing 3. Presented multiple challenges unique to the Thousand Islands, such as the possibility for gaining a religious head or founding an empire 4. Added special clergy Traits and "bad priest" mechanics and features for Fish Gods clergymen 5. Fish Gods worshippers now observe official canon and can perform human sacrifices to their idols on the shore 6. Thousand Islanders are now zealous shipwrights in order to obey canon's declaration that they do not step in salt water 7. Added a special building to match canonical references to idols on the Thousand Islands This Mod should be fully compatible with anything and everything but, of course, it requires the "Game of Thrones" Mod to play. In the end, all men must die. Please click this link to download my Sub-Mod.Due to complications with the Steam Workshop, I can no longer update my Mod correctly. Please download the new version here: www.anonfiles.com/TeAex001ve/000_AGOT_TSP_Thousand_Islands_2_zip . DEUS VULT. -TURTLESHROOM

Well this should give me something to do till More Bloodlines is up to date. I've always wanted to conquer those islands with a dragon rider and build an island empire that wasn't those useless one-holding Stepstones.

Nice. I enabled the province in my own game but it always gets conquered by the Jogos or the Ngai... maybe with the additional things you added, the fishies stand a chance!

Hmm, would this work with Westeros only mod? does it add a completely new islands north of Essos? don't know much about Thousand Islands. The Thousand Islands are canonical, and this Mod re-enables them in the game. They are north of N'ghai. As canon is so sparse on that location and its people, I was able to create a lot of fan fiction and conclusions of my own to make this forgotten land something worth playing. Part of this is a what-if: what if the Thousand Islanders were more ambitious? What if they could breed with normal men? (Unlike the Brindlemen, canon does NOT say that Thousand Islanders can't breed with others.)

HOLY CRAWFISH, ONE THOUSAND MEN HAVE SUBSCRIBED!
I am humbled!
Let it be known that expansions to this Mod, incorporation into the greater "Game of Thrones" world, and even relations to the canonical Old Ones (Cthulhu) of Leng are upcoming! As requested by popular demand, a complete line of succession all the way to the Clash of Kings will be implemented once I figure out how to stop the game from crashing when I click "Arrange Marriage" on the character screen!
Keep an eye on this thread, for any future expansions will be announced!

Have you thought about adding Mossovy as well? Isn't Mossovy already in the game, as the Ruins east of Nghai?

Have you thought about adding Mossovy as well? Isn't Mossovy already in the game, as the Ruins east of Nghai? Nah I think Mossovy is beyond those (Point of Mosov, Kosov, Gostov etc) also in the lore its not a ruined civilisation (although little is known about it), its basically a representation of the medieval understanding of further russian principalities (as opposed to the better known to western europe Novgorod which seems to be represented by Norvos/Qohor)

That'd be a cool mod but there's almost nothing known about Mossovy to work with. It's covered in a large dark forest, it's a "cold, dark, land" known for its shapeshifters and demon-hunters, there was apparently a King of Mossovy at some point in time, and that's everything we know lol. Like you said from it's name and description it does seem vaguely to be a Russian or Slavic cultural analogy but it's not much to work with.
I think that'd be a cool sub-mod actually if Turtleshroom or someone else wanted to do Mossovy from scratch but it should probably be a separate sub-mod from this one.
