If you're using another mod that also touches characters, like for example More Bloodlines, you need to edit the DNA there, too.

Is this mod compatible with More Bloodlines? Also is it compatible with the two Dragon mods (Dragons Portraits + Traits, Dragons Expanded Compatch)? Thank you for all your hard work!!

I have this issue as well, but only have this mod and the main agot mod active. I changed the DNA and properties of Dany in Document>Paradox>CK2>AGOT>save games, and when I loaded back up it reverted her. Is there somewhere else I should change it?

Savegames are, as the name makes clear, saves. If you edited the DNA there it will be used, no question about it.
History data (history\characters\crownlands.txt etc.) is only read when starting a new game. So if you change the history data in any way, it will not be visible in already existing savegames.

I am changing the DNA and properties lines in this save game file (e.g. Meereen8300_03_04) from the file path I listed above. Not sure this will come out well with copy/paste, but I am changing the part of the save game file that looks like this:
CK2txt version="3.2.1.0 date="8300.3.4" player= { id=77041 type=66 } player_realm="k_meereen" player_name="Queen Daenerys 'Stormborn'" player_age=16 player_portrait= { fem=yes dna="dabldeebbfw" properties="0o0dik00000000cb000000000000000000000" religion="the_seven" culture="high_valyrian" government="feudal_government" dynasty=496 }
EDIT: So, the DNA and properties values are what I copy pasted into the file to change Dany's appearance. When I load up, the thumbnail of her I see on the Continue/New Game/Load Game/Exit screen is changed, but if i hit continue and the game loads, she looks like old Dany. And if I then save, the DNA and properties in the new save file change back.

You have to go further down in the save file, search the character ID and find the full character entry

That did it, thank you! Lol, it was so obvious too, how embarrassing.

Hey. For some reason when using this mod I have certain characters that have invisible faces. Namely from the Free Cities, such as Lorath or Myr. I've got the three DLC that it says to have but it's still happening. Any advice?

The mod requires more than those 3 DLC.
"This mod REQUIRES all DLC that adds portraits to the game or it will not work properly, this includes MaM, JD and RoI."
So it requires all of the portrait packs and any other DLC that adds portraits, such as Monks and Mystics, Jade Dragon, Rajas of India and Holy Fury.

I have all of the main DLCs besides Charlemagne.

Do you have all of the portrait packs? You mentioned that Myrman and Lorathi are the specific cultures that don't have faces, they require the Southern Portraits pack.

Just letting you know, 2.1 broke the submod.

I can confirm as well that this mod isn't currently working with AGOT 2.1
Hopefully we can get an update.
