Yep, you do need the content packs I'm afraid. At least they've stopped selling the portraits and things separately now.

I have the portraits, and the content packs, but the Valyrians have invisible heads. I, however, do not have the "Holy Fury" expansion. Do I need Holy Fury to make this work, or something?

I assume this is the only portrait mod working now since the CPR plus compatible version is shelved as the creator hasn't done anything with it or given an update. This is very good though, and bless you for keeping this updated. I have literally been playing nothing but Nobunagas Ambition and Octopath Traveler for the last few months waiting for a new portrait replacer for AGOT. Now i can finally enjoy the game again!!!

The links are not letting me download from dropbox. That or the website is forcing me to create an account with them to download them. I can see the files but no buttons to download. Only a comments tab and an about tab. Please tell me if there is a problem with the link or if dropbox is just harassing me lol.

I can't find the Ironborn in the cultures file! I was hoping to change their portrait base to the slavic portraits. Any idea how I can fix that?

If you go to AGOT Better Faces\interface\portraits\portraits_ironborn.gfx. Once opened (I recommend using Notepad++ if you don't already), replace every instance of the word 'english' with 'westernslavic' (Ctrl + H if using Notepad++). That should give the Ironborn the Slavic portraits as a base, but keep the same hair/beards and clothes.

I've seen that Bone Mountain portraits including both male and female don't have any hair and they also CTDed when use in ruler designer, anyway thks for your great mod.

I also made another mod that changed Daenery's face so she looked a little better than the default frankish valyrian dany.  before  after With respect, I would say mine is better  I use Frankish faces though. I can post the DNA sequence if anyone is interested. Hey uh... How did you guys change Dany's face? Can I have the link to whatever submod of a submod that was used? |

It's done using Portrait Builder, which can be found here: ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Portrait_Builder. Enable the DLC and mods you use, select the relevant portrait gfx, customise it to your liking. Then take the DNA and portrait values it spits out at you, open your save file (or history files if you want the changes to persist across games) find the character you've customised and copy their new DNA & portrait values in. |
