There isn't much I can do, without editing the history files for characters that don't look right. With Renly, for example, he ordinarily has no facial hair, which translates to the "o" (bold just to make it clearer) in his properties "aq0aok00000000ba00". Each hair or beard is essentially assigned a letter in the alphabet (from A onwards) based on the order (from left to right) in the gfx file, except the first image (which is usually blank) comes last (for some reason). Anyway, the "o" in the base mod translates correctly because there are 15 beards for Andal males, because O is the 15th letter in the alphabet, but I expanded the total number beards to 18, which means Renly just gets whatever beard number 15 is. Unless I include a copy of the history files from the base mod with updated dna and properties for any characters that don't look right, which would be a lot of tedious work, there isn't much I can do.
A solution to this though, would be to go into your own histoy files (A Game of Thrones\history\characters\stormlands.txt), find Renly (id 5317) and change the "o" to an "r" (not in bold obviously) and then Renly would have properties that correctly correspond with the number of beards available. I would also recommend using Portrait Builder to correct or alter any other character's appearance to your preference in the same way. The only downside being when you update the base mod or reinstall it you'll have to do it all over again, so I recommend keeping a txt file with all the edited dna and properties in it to make it easier to alter again in the future.
Hopefull I explained this in a way that made sense.
