I hope someone can help me because i cant seem to figure it out. I created a trait for agot mod worked like a charm. Then i downloaded the submod and now it cant find the trait. I popped back over to agot mod to see if it still works after the download and it does. it seems the trait will only not work with the submods. can someone help me fix this?

Interesting interesting. None of the official submods edit traits so it doesn't make much sense for it not to work with them. Congenital Overhaul traits work perfectly so have you tried dropping that trait you created into your own little submod? Very easy to set those up.

All the submods in the original post have been updated for 1.6.1 Thanks a lot! I am currently working on "making the Crabb family great again" But there are still some bugs with familytrees in the bookmarks (for example "Light of the Seven": family Blackwood and some more) It doesnt hurt, but...

Is the andal melting pot part of the Andal Invasion submod or would it work with just the regular AGOT mod? Like if I invaded the north as someone with andal culture would it turn northern andal?

First I would like to say thank you to the modders. I truly enjoy both this game and mod. However one issue I have had since I found out about this mod. Is the case of crashing. It would seem no matter what I do, I'm always getting crashes. This usually occurs about 2/3 into the game. And it takes alot of the fun out of playing with this mod. Has anyone experienced this? Or this something unique to me? And if not how did you solve it?

Hi guys, is there any way to build Harrenhal in Pre-Doom scenarios? No, it's specifically disabled in those scenarios (as is the curse of Harrenhal).

It happens a lot to me as well. I don't think I ever played more than 250 years because of crashes and also because of the gradual slowing down of the game (note: the game sometimes slows down for a few years then is much faster afterwards. If this happens to you as well, I suggest waiting while these days take 1s and you may very well get a better cruise speed such as 10d/s after a few years). Regarding crashes, from my experience, they are either due to system overload or to something bad happening - not that I ever found out what specifically caused a crash. Also, crashes tend to happen more often on auto-saves dates (because of the extra system load and the maintenance events I believe). Anyway, here is what I do to work-around these crashes. - Crashes which do not reoccur after reloading the game
=> Solution: Restart the game and reload the latest save
=> Mitigation: Have frequent auto-saves (yearly is my choice), perform a manual save after any event having a very low occurrence of happening (e.g. to avoid a crash a few weeks after you rebuilt Harrenhall)
=> Notes: I believe this is not specific to the AGOT mod as I recall it happening on Vanilla CK2 albeit with a lower occurrence.
- Crashes which do reoccur after reloading the game
=> Solution:
- Restart the game
- If your last saves before the crash are auto-saves, load the oldest auto-save and save it again (to make sure it does not disappear because of auto-save trimming, and because some crashes are due to random events which may or may not occur when you replay these years before the crash and you want to max your chances to salvage your play-through)
- Resign back to main menu
- Load the last save, run until the expected auto-save crash date
- Did a crash happen?
- No: Save the game now. Crossed fingers but you most likely salvaged your play-through.
- Yes; Return to step #3 above, but in step #4 load the save occurring *before* the save which led to the crash (loading the same save may yield different results because of random events outcome etc. or it may not. As the whole experience of salvaging takes time, and playing 1Y is pretty quick, I figure it's better to salvage the game as quick as possible, even if it means having to replay a few months/years, rather than try to have the latest "non-corrupted" version of my play-through).
=> Mitigation: Do not have too frequent auto-saves (yearly is my choice; you want a decent time-frame between the fatal crash date and the save you load to have a better chance of avoiding the crash thanks to the bigger range of random event outcomes possibilities in e.g. 3Y vs 3M) and perform manual saves often (the best would be every 3 auto-saves, as these get trimmed)
I have also read about people editing save game files to change the date to after the auto-save date to prevent the auto-save crashing. In my experience, doing so results in the crash reoccurring either in the next auto-save or any manually performed save; hence, it is not worth the hassle.

First of all I am loving your mod and is the main reason I bought the game in the first place. With that said I would like to suggest to dial down the andal invasions. I am saying this because while you have levie raised they can happen 5 or 6 times within the same year or so if you leave them unchecked and they are extremely difficult to deal with if they are in large numbers. Also some times that I deal only with andal invasions and no other wars of mine I can't stop them unless I cheat as until I defeat one of them one other will happen, I deal with the first and before I can stop the second a third will happen and so on until I turn yesman on. Also what plans do you have for valyria?
