Well I saw somebody had updated it for themselves and with some extra bits, if they were to hmm fix some of their extra additions out OR run them by me first I'd be fine with their release. I'd even toss it up on my mediafire and give them credit. Both Azsouth and PhoenixAvenger have done past releases as well . This gets the bonus of giving others some modding experience and letting me be lazy muahahahaha. FYI: Stonewallace, message me and lemme know what kinda changes they are and might just use your updates for the version update.

This is definitely the best Agot mod, but in the next updates there will be more crowns? crowns for kings that are not just targaryens, like crowns of the storm, but that can be used or designed through options

This is a quote from the release of v1.6.1 CROWNS 12 New crowns that can appear into the game. If you're Durrandon/Baratheon, Reyne/Lannister, Tully, Arryn, Dayne, Tarth, Tyrell, Frey, Hightower or any of their cadet dynasties and you are allowed to wear a crown, at some point the crown will be added to your artifacts window and you can equip them. The notification is silent (Doesn't notify you lol) but it will show up within at least a couple years. My testing was having it show up about 6 months in. In the case of the Durrandon/Baratheons who have 3 crowns... When you've randomly received one of the three, that character won't recieve any more. If no Durrandon/Baratheons other than yourself gain a title that can wear a king, when you die your heir will be able to gain the next one (and their heir will gain the third). Same applies to Reyne/Lannister crowns. These crowns ALL have portrait graphics that go with them, and so equiping them on the artifact panel WILL put those crowns on your character (This unfortunately does not survive death which also effects the vanilla artifact crowns... Contemplating a means for fixing it. Maybe see if there is a scope to check the active artifact on death and grant a specific trait.. Then setup traits for all the crowns that will assign if that character dies?) There are crowns for non Targaryen Houses. Gain a title that allows the owner to wear a crown and that house will gain a crown. House Durrandon (x3) House Reyne (x1) House Tully (x1) House Lannister (x1) House Arryn (x1) House Tyrell (x1) House Dayne (x1) House Tarth (x1) House Frey (x1) House Hightower (x1)

If I've noticed those crowns, but I want to be able to use them, use them visibly

They work exactly like Targaryen crowns from vanilla... Artifact change and shows on portrait. Persists after death showing on that particular character.

What strange does not work for me ... could it be the fault of the submod 'Better Faces'?

Awesome mod, out of interest do you have any plans to add congenital crowns to the major northern houses? ie Stark, Bolton, maybe Marsh Kings

I'll give my files a look later today or maybe tomorrow night and see what I've changed. I honestly don't remember what all I've done at this point. Other than merge CO with Better Faces which shouldn't be too hard to remove.
I think one of the changes was adding Stark-Targaryen and Blackfyre dynasties to most of the events that Targaryens get bonuses to but that may have been in a separate mod I made for myself.

I'm sure many would also like your compatch for Congenital Overhaul and Better Faces as well anyway.

deklor: Yeah Better Faces I believe will force the crowns not to work.
rufff1: If somebody has made some crowns that are good quality.
stonewallace: The Stargaryen and Blackfyre stuff would be fine by me.

Well, it is not so serious, just a small incompatibility error, but in the new version in 'hf' will there be new crowns? or is it unlikely at the moment?

Great, I will hopefully get some time tonight to double check my files and see if I have any other edits made, and if those are it I will go ahead and upload.
I think what I'll do is check your 1.7 portrait files for compatibility with 1.7.1 (I think the only change was to the portrait_properties.txt for Tyrion's nose) and use those in the 1.7.1 upload, and I'll put Better Faces versions of those files in a separate upload in the same post (users will still need to download Better Faces)

If somebody were to make some fancy new shiny portrait crowns I would not be opposed to adding them in. I can create the artifacts themselves (Those are just the portrait icon over an artifact background.. Which I hopefully still have the template of.. If not I'll just create a new template and update all to match it.
And like always if somebody had a Valyrian sword artifact and trait icon I'd be okay adding them into the mix.
Custom dynasties also I'd be okay with adding into as long as the custom coat of arms requested is unique and of high quality. IE: They meet the standards of the main mod and actually look like they could be already in. For instance if you've ever looked inside the Vale, there is a house Burke in control of a barony that doesn't exist in AGOT with it's own custom valyrian sword. This was added around the same time as I added my own house Drace into the mod when a bunch of valyrian swords were added belonging to one Daniel per his request.

For some reason when I equip this mod inbred children aren't getting the "abomination of incest" modifier.
