Yep the main post version is outdated. For version 1.8 lol. There was an unofficial 1.9 version release and then I've heard there was a hotfix for 1.9.1 by somebody whom I can't remember atm cause my heads throbbing... When they release the next version is probly when there will be an official version. Though don't take my word at it, I dun work here  |

Looks like stonewallace17 posted an unofficial version for 1.9.1 in this thread at the bottom of page 39. It's a shame the crowns don't work, they're my favourite part of an exceptional mod! Is there any update on when they'll be put back in so they can be used with portraits?

Well right now would be the best time for a release. I'm off work till the 9th (much needed vacation). That's great! just make sure to not spend all your Vacation time on it though.  Can't wait for this release! (Is it ganna include Improved Genetics?) |

I think Paradox has stopped patching for a while. I've been expecting an update to the main mod because of it but I'm not sure if there's one coming soon or not I don't think there's ganna be one simply because the patch doesn't seem to have broken/changed anything drastically. but the main mod still has few bugs that needs fixing so maybe we'll get an update afterall. |

Crowns are a portrait layer so if you use any other mod that touches portraits it'll be incompatible. This includes mods like Better Faces and More Bloodlines.
You can merge the portrait code to make it compatible but that requires some knowledge of how portraits work.
