Hmm, i'm wondering though , will the Valyrian Steel Swords be updated anytime soon? i've always liked them and their unique Trait icons, especially now because Reforging Valyrian Steel Sword defualts the trait icon to just plain "Valyrian Steel Sword" after the rulers death, while the Sword passes as an Artifact and it just completely ruins immersion, taking all fun out of Reforging them. (At least for me) Or at least is there a way to make the game show Original VS icons when character dies? i know why they've done this, cause now Reforging VS gives it unique Description with Reforger's name in it, but even with Original descriptions i'd be fine with it. There are already existing trait icons for all the reforgable VS in the game, i've tested it with the add_trait command, so is there any way i could do this?

Uh I think the issue lies in the scripted triggers file but I don't remember for sure. I've been going through and updating mods I use, I'll check and see if my CO update is working and then upload it in a bit Edit: didn't see any immediate issues, give this a test Congenital Overhaul 1.9.1 UnofficialThat worked perfectly! Thanks for taking time out of your day to update it. The helmet issue is gone, and everything looks great!

I thought I had fixed that but maybe it was another mod that overwrites the COA file. I'll check it tonight and upload a fix if need be

What I did was edit the coats_of_arms.txt file in CO because since the update, it was out of date. Fixed the flags for me.
Edit: Specifically I copied the coats_of_arms.txt file from the main mod and added the new houses from CO to the end of the first section.

Yeah my bad I forgot to update it for CO, only my personal compatibility patch folder. Fixed it, download link should be the same as before

Man I'm so mad at myself. I read this thread, and assumed something was updated, dumb on my part. I did NOT have the CoA issue that Lord Gardener posted.
Well now that I downloaded what I thought was some manner of fix or update from stonewallace17 saying "Fixed it, dl link should be the same" I have that issue. I don't know where I got my old file at before now to get it away!
So can someone help me get my CoA back to normal, and NOT cut in half..

Try putting the attachment of this post into your documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings 2/mod/AGOT Congenital Overhaul/interface/coat_of_arms folder. If that doesn't fix it then go to documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings 2/a game of thrones and delete the gfx folder Attachments:coats_of_arms.txt (22.87 KB)

Unfortunately neither one of those worked. Edit: I got it, but it still shouldn't have happened. I had to unactivate my other sub-mod "New CoA for aGoT" which I had both before and was fine.

I've had the same thing happening to me lately. It was the "More Bloodlines" submod that was doing it though.

That is odd, as far as i know this Submod (nor the Unofficial version i think) doesn't touch CoAs? but More Bloodlines adds traits so that's understandable that those two mods would be conflicting. no idea on More CoAs though, as this one doesn't touch them, it makes no sense that it'd conflict with that one, considering Coat of Arms is the only thing that mod changes. Maybe Lancelot could enlighten us more once he has free time. or even better, give us an update (Just kiddin, no rush man)

This does add like 2 coat of arms House Drace and then a House something in the Vale. If you have any other submods that add coat of arms you'll need to merge the coat_of_arms.txt file. I do this kinda stuff for my own personal little mod to keep compatibility of things and so I don't accidentally mod the submod and break it... Then just add dependencies.

Thanks again for House Drace! (Attached file is a modded version btw, it's not original submod content)

Hey guys! I'm having an issue playing as Aenar Targaryen in the Century of Blood bookmark. Basically, I don't seem to have access to the Dragon Conquest CB. I do have the CB if I use the unofficial 1.9 update, but seem to experience the same issues with the coat of arms and even hair being way outside of the portraits if I do. This is how it looks like in version 1.8: And this is how it is in the unofficial 1.9 version:

Do you have other mods affecting the CoAs? And did you delete any previous version of Congenital Overhaul before installing mine?
