Happy Easter! MBS 2.1 is now out! Somewhat appropriately for our 100th page on the forum its a pretty big update (2.0 coming out when it did caught us a bit off guard and so a lot of features we'd planned for 2.0 got rolled over to 2.1). in terms of new bloodlines there's a bunch:

Features wise there's also a lot. The key one in this update is the new "Blessed Generation" feature. This is inspired by the way that the Starks got their direwolves - now it is possible for you to find animals for all your children all at once in what some may perceive as a blessing by the Old Gods. This blessing is not confined to merely finding the animals, you may notice your children becoming braver, stronger, more skilled, and better at fighting, more mystical, if you are a child who was blessed by the Old Gods who comes to rule before you are an adult you may even find yourself able to threaten an unruly vassal with your beast like Robb did with the Greatjon (they might take it well and view you as a powerful liege they will gladly serve or they may be utterly furious), but a very young child so blessed might find their personality deeply warped by being bonded to a beast so young. Some children of such blessed generation might become legends in their own lifetime becoming amazingly skilled and aquiring unique nicknames. To offset this (fairly rare event) the chances of normal trait gain of an animal has been significantly reduced - it still happens but is generally a bit less Pokemon-esque. full changelog:

- Blessed generation - in rare circumstances an entire genration from a skinchanging family can become skinchangers at once in what may be interpreted as the blessing of the Old Gods. A bit like Children of Destiny these children appear special, there is a chance for one amongst them to become a greenseer and they will find bravery and martial pursuits come to them more easily than ever before. This is more than just getting an animal and being done, the blessing of the old gods will follow these children throughout their lives, just as the current crop of Starks in AGOT are singled out for greatness. There are risks though, younger characters bonded with a beast at such a young age can find their personalities affected. Current bloodlines added

- Oberyn now has two bloodlines controlled by events - one ONLY gets added to any sons he might have and is patrilineal, the other is matrilineally and ONLY gets added to daughters
- Aconda has finished off house armours for basically every major house in Westeros, there are now an insane number of house armours, 89 new sets have been added in this update alone, and many existing ones have been revamped
- Kingsguard get a unique armour, and kingsguard from House Lannister get a unique version of said armour
- Fixed a bunch of armours being unforgeable
- New lute artifact for poets
- Some bloodline icons tweaked
- Royces should now use Aconda's armour image
- Fixed Tarths having Dunk's shield before he dies
- Changed the bonuses of some house bonuses
- Unique Falchion for Ramsay Snow
- If you excavate Oldstones you might find Tristifer's hammer as well as his crown
- New Valyrian Steel axe Baratheons/Durrandons get if they complete the quest: "Stormbolt"
- Forrester sword can be used by any house
- Dragonglass dagger now an offhand weapon - can be used with a sword
- Made it so that certain seafaring dynasties can build flagships even without holding land
- Separate decision for those without a seafaring bloodline, made it so that non independent counts and up can build ships - however they must be coastal, counts can only buils small ships, dukes, can build regular ships, and kings can build enormous ships
- Made it so that certain dynaties with notable female members have a tomboy flag, this makes it easier for women with these bloodlines to pursue martial pursuits and there is a unique event that can make them gain warrior traits to compliment this
- Bunch of new bloodlines and tweaks to existing bloodlines
- Added shipyards to Three Towers since the Costaynes are meant to be seafarers
- Added a new salt panning building for Saltpans
- Winterfell Throne now has a minute effect on build speed
- New Shieldhall building in Castle Black
- Kingdom of Dragonstone now gets usurped in wars as appropriate
- Balls and Rowans now have Strong Seed
- New Dothraki Valyrian ethnicity (dothraki with silver hair) for appropriate offspring including Rhaego
- Cotter Pyke now has a sigil
- Overhaul to the Faith of Seven - there are now a handful of county tier septs (ie Quiet Isle) that are essentially guaranteed a spot on the Most Devout, also from Wot5K onwards the High Sparrow pre election to High Septon holds a landless duchy symbolising the Sparrows movement, this functionally guarantees his election as High Septon, after he is elected the duchy is just held by whoever is High Septon.
- Additionally a few motherhouse have been added at county and barony tier in canon locations, thanks to events these should always be held by a woman.
- Duncan's dynamic COA fixed along with a few other bugged ones including Robert's bastards
- Yronwoods now have a second county like the Fowlers do, both the new province and the second Fowler county are now commands
- New Kennelmaster minor title only holdable by lowborn hunters
- New Bard minor title only holdable by lowborn poets, if you have no valid candidates you can find one by decision at the cost of coin (or you can go down the local tavern and find a really bad one for free)
- Bunch of new nicknames
- Gilded Skull of the Boy Too Bold By Half now an artifact held by the Jhattar of the Jogos Nhai
- Changed the way Jon's bloodline works - he has one from COK onwards, but if you take the throne his original one is replaced by one of two more powerful versions depending on which house you choose
- Theon now has the option to defect if Balon refuses Robb's offer of an alliance, going back to Robb and taking Wex Pyke and his ship with him
- Added event that finds Cannibal's egg on Dragonstone
- Made Daeron the Good, Helaena, and Aemond Targaryen not trigger fair trait gain as they were not particularly fair
- New event that kicks non Black Brothers/wildings/prisoners/wards out of the Nights' Watch on game start (which stops half the North hanging around the wall and turning into Black Brothers/Silent Sisters)
- Issues with Young Griff not getting his bl fixed
- Hand of the King now get a unique badge of office that only they can equip
- Brandon Stark has left behind a couple of "Snowflakes" in the form of daughters that you might find if you look for them
- Update the Stark-Targaryen sigil to a better version
- New Stark/Blackfyre martial sigils by aconda
- Some history tweaks
- A few new provinces
- House Toyne in GC tweaked
- Eastmelt returned to House Moss
- Made sure early Nights Watch castles start as vassals of the Watch if not yet ruined
- Tweaked when Daemon holds King's Landing so he's not a vassal of the IT during the Stepstones War
- Changed early history of Orkmont so that it isn't bugged in Century of Blood
- Changed early history of Saltcliffe so that it isn't bugged in Century of Blood
- Localisation fixes
- Added differently localised trait gain for non-uller paranoid bloodlines
- Created a "The Bastard of X" nickname that can be acquired by high martial/PCS bastards
- Yronwoods, uniquely of all Dornish houses, now use agnatic-cognatic primogeniture

Same as with Arya etc - as a Stark, be at peace and stand in the same province as them (or invite them to your court), as for who they are - think where we know Brandon to have been/who he was close friends with in the lore and wander around there, eventually you'll probably bump into them (or just search for Snow and see who looks like a Stark lol) |

Having small problems with this mod. When I use it, all the title images change. Non westeros houses have no title images. Just gray with no symbol. Any ideas what might be causing it? I removed all mods and tried with the same problem so its not another mod interfering.

Both Boremund and his sister Jocelyn were angered by the king's decision. When Baelon died in 101 AC, Jaehaerys convened a Great Council to decide the matter of succession. Boremund gave his support to Princess Rhaenys and her young son, Laenor Velaryon, but eventually Baelon's son Viserys was named heir" - awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Boremund_BaratheonSo this way you can play as Boremund and try to take the Iron throne and give to Rhaenys i guess? |

I mean yes, you're probrably right, but was the best in canon answer i could think about for it  Edit: I was playing around in the ACOK and noticed something, didn't wanted to make another consecutive post and all, but does anyone know if there is some Rhaego event now, like Miri/Jorah smuggling the baby or something like that? Because holly there is some work put on the kid, the special seed, the bloodlines of Drogo an his own... I will probrably just make him alive and smuggle the kid to my court with save editing if not, because come on the boy has a lot of potencial! |
