Same here. It's a little jank here and there, like Skane turns into a ruin for some reason (that I can't colonize) but still runs alright for me. It's not happening for me. I colonize Skane just fine. You might be having a conflict with another submod. I had to edit the terrain and topology BMP files to remove the wall so that MBS wall model could fit into place properly as well as adding new islands added in MBS 2.1. Could you give me a rundown on how you did that? I've never really messed with any of the files before.

Same for topology. Nothing too complicated.

ManicMayoThis isn't related to the mod directly, but I haven't been able to get a hold of the original mod author. What would the process of getting In Heaven's Graphics Overhaul working on another map entail? I really want it for HIP's SWMH map, since I just can't bear to play CK2 vanilla anymore

Hey all, I've recently got back into AGOT and should be active on the forums again. Browsing through the backlog of posts, I've noticed that I forgot to update the various pre-doom versions of these mods so I'll look to get them fixed over the next few days. Sorry for that lengthy oversight! What would the process of getting In Heaven's Graphics Overhaul working on another map entail? My tutorial that borigh posted above should still work but bear in mind that it was made specifically for the Cartographic Map mod, though that shouldn't matter. A much easier way to put it is to simply make a new mod that uses the AGOT version as a template and replace the various image files displaying Planetos (the AGOT map) as well as the terrain.txt file with their counterparts in the HIP mod folder. Also, in the .txt file for your mod, make sure you specify ' HIP - Historical Immersion Project' as the dependency or you may encounter issues. I've just downloaded HIP and tested this myself and this method seems to work just fine. One thing to make you aware of though is, because the mod was not made with Graphics Overhaul in mind, you will encounter a few terrain bugs whereby the incorrect texture will be displayed in certain areas. When I tested this just now, it seems to most greatly affect the marshland textures in the British Isles and the Netherlands as well as virtually all of central mountain range of Persia. Overall though these bugs seem to be relatively few in number and shouldn't take away from the experience in any meaningful way... unless you plan on doing a Zoroastrian playthrough anytime soon.

Any chance of a More Bloodlines version? I guess I could try it myself but I figured I'd ask.

The Colonisable Valyria and pre-doom versions of the Graphics Overhaul sub-mod for AGOT have (finally) been updated. Apologies again for the delay! The new textures added in the vanilla mod should now be fully implemented and the map transparency feature should now be working properly. The old, lighter-coloured water texture has been replaced with the darker version (with greatly improved coastlines) used in the main version and in the vanilla Graphics Overhaul mod. Sorry to anybody who preferred the old texture! Also, for the pre-doom version, I've made some tweaks that should fix the vanilla graphical bug whereby the post-doom coastline was still visible in the form of darkened patches through the middle of the 'undoomed' Valyrian peninsula where the Smoking Sea would be. I achieved this by adding a custom world_normal_height.bmp and colormap.dds file which, for any devs that chance upon this post, I would be happy to offer up for inclusion within the pre-doom scenarios as a less-than-perfect fix. The OP has been updated, but they can also be downloaded from the links below: Hope you all enjoy! Any chance of a More Bloodlines version? I guess I could try it myself but I figured I'd ask. It depends. I'll download the More Bloodlines sub-mod and have a look tomorrow. If the Graphics Overhaul sub-mod (which I assume you're using?) requires substantial tweaking to make it work, I'll upload a separate, More Bloodlines version. Otherwise, should no additional files be needed to make it work, I'll post a tutorial for you and others to follow to make the main version compatible.

Only problem I have noticed is the fact there is both the ugly wall made of terrain, and the nice fancy wall at the same time, even crossing over slightly, its ignorable for the most part, but still might agravating once you notice it.

Only problem I have noticed is the fact there is both the ugly wall made of terrain, and the nice fancy wall at the same time, even crossing over slightly, its ignorable for the most part, but still might agravating once you notice it. Assuming you're using the Better Wall mod, you can fix this by simply deleting the topology.bmp file from whichever one of these map mods you're using. As far as I am aware, it isn't actually needed to make these mods work and I just never got around to deleting it. When you do this, the game should instead use the topology file from the Better Wall mod that removes the ugly heightened terrain that is used to simulate the wall in vanilla. Otherwise, if this doesn't work, simply copy the topology.bmp file from the Better Wall mod and post it into the same location <mod name>\map and that should fix it. Hope this helps!

Amazing and must-have mod but unfortunately makes the game crash when used together with the latest More Bloodlines, adding "AGOT More Bloodlines Submod" to the list of dependencies on AGOT Graphical Overhaul.mod made it not crash.
