Was hoping this would add historical great works like The Wall or Hightower :/ I think this is a good first step for wonders. If I had more experience with modding I would offer to help...but sadly all I have is a lot of ideas, lol

Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with this mod. The Great Works button has disappeared entirely from my games.
Does anyone here know how to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.
I'm running CK3.1 and AGOT 1.9.1

I can't seem to get this submod to work. How do I initiate the building of the wonders?

It works, but most of the upgrades are missing. In the AGOT modfiles are all but the road upgrade deactivated.
You can reactivate them by removing the hashtags, but there are certainly some upgrades, that will cause problems, so be careful.

I would also love an upgrade that makes the Underground City; the Great Amphitheatre, the Great University and the Great Library buildable. I tinkered a bit with the mod but couldn't get them working properly.
And the Wonders Made by Man would of course also be great!

Thanks you for this amazing content
It would be one of the coolest mods If you managed to add great wonders of worlds. As wonders in game.

Upgrades aren't showing because in AGOT 2.0 mod file there's the line replace_path = "common/wonder_upgrades"
You can copy wonder_upgrades folder from the main game's common folder and paste it to the commons folder in this submod. It works and I can upgrade wonders just like I did in AGOT 1.9.1.

Canonically, the "Game of Thrones" world has several Wonders of the World. The fact that the developers of the Mod excluded them, and the entire Wonder system, will never cease to confuse me.

Canonically, the "Game of Thrones" world has several Wonders of the World. The fact that the developers of the Mod excluded them, and the entire Wonder system, will never cease to confuse me. The reason the devs excluded the wonder system was because the top liege is the one who owns them all so the king of the iron throne would just be the owner rather than the actual families who hold them in the lore.

Surely there's a way around that? I think the top liege should own it (since that cannot be fixed, BUT Events give the actual holder the same benefits and privileges. Through Decisions and convoluted systems such as that, both the top liege AND the actual holder can get benefits. Or, alternatively, have it so that the top liege is given Modifiers to negate it, to deny him upgrading the Wonder himself, restricting that to the actual province owner.
It couldn't be that hard, could it?

Is this the only sub-mod to do this? Is it working in 2.1? What are the known issues? (I heard something about not being able to build a Great University or Great Library- which are, for flavor/roleplay reasons, two of the Great Works that I am most interested in building).
I also don't get why this isn't part of the main mod. See below.
It would be straightforward enough to tie the MAIN effects of the historical wonders to unique local buildings that start off already built, much like how the Theodosian Walls of Constantinople are represented as a special building on the chief (castle) holding of the Constantinople province in the base game (even though they were, historically, city walls)- so whomever own the province gets benefits- even if they are a vassal (often happens if the Byzantine Emperor moves the capital to the city of Rome after re-conquering Italy for the Eastern/Byzantine Romans, to restore the Western Roman Empire, and hands off Constantinople to a trusted dynasty member/councillor/heir...)
However building *NEW* Great Works would be a massive/expensive task, requiring a HUGE labor force, and it is probably realistic to the lore only a top liege would undertake it; and expect to be granted most special privileges/benefits to go with it. The only reason local families control the Great Works in Westeros is because of tradition- the 7 kingdoms were independent Kingdoms, realms in their own right, for GENERATIONS before the Targaryen conquest...
Anyways, if a great king (or emperor) wanted to build another university/library on the scale of The Citadel, another great fortress like the Red Keep, great temple like the Sept of Baelor, or palace/city like Highgarden; the benefits absolutely SHOULD go to the top liege- this isn't broken from a roleplay perspective...
If it makes top lieges too powerful, they should just nerf them in some other, thematically-appropriate way.
Just my two cents, anyways.
