After seeing a small discussion on the What would you like to see in upcoming versions of this mod thread I decided to make a sub-mod which adds new bloodline traits to prominent families of Westeros. The traits give monthly prestige, a general opinion and bonus opinion with other of that trait. Currently Included: - 12 Bloodline Traits for the major families of Wetseros including the pre-conquest Kings
- A starting event to assign the trait so it is compatible with ruler designed families
- A maintenance event to assign the trait if it is not inherited correctly
- Event to check parents for bloodlines and to assign them to children
- Decision to make your own bloodline trait if you have any Emperor Tier title bar, have 2000 prestige or piety and don't have any other bloodlines
Current version v7 Compatible with CK2 v2.7.1 Compatible with AGOT v1.5.1 Compatible Sub-mods: Should be compatible with anything as it only adds stuff, however it might not be compatible with sub-mods that add new traits. Compatible with any custom houses I have made . Download LinkIf you wish to use parts of this submod in any of your own mods ask me for permission and I'll decide (probably a no). Icons done by the amazing talias Thanks to Elder Kings for the inspiration of having bloodlines and some of the code for creating the divine bloodline. WARNING! THIS WILL BE INCOMPATIBLE WITH SAVE GAMES THAT DIDN'T START WITH THIS

It is not. The bloodlines exist in 1.6, but it goes to the wrong families (for example, Targaryens are listed as being of the Hoare bloodline. Lannisters, Tyrell, etc). It also shuffles around valyrian weapons (Celtigar had Ice for example).

Working fine to me, probably an issue on your part.

Working fine to me, probably an issue on your part. Confirmed. Bloodlines is a very simple mod, it should be compatible.

Yep, works fine for me, Ned's kids got Stark and Tully, Joffrey and siblings got Baratheon and Lannister.

Working fine to me, probably an issue on your part. Interesting. Could be the Mac of it all (which I play on). Could have been a conflicting submod. I dunno. But thanks for letting me know. Bloodlines is one of my favorite mods, so I’ll definitely be messing around with my mod list, trying to figure it out.

I've been using it fine. Only thing I've noticed is the bloodline traits don't seem to get removed when parents change via event (Arya -> Jeyne Poole for example) but I don't remember how that worked before either

Is it possible to get permission to use some of the trait icon themselves for a mod (have discovered that drawing a lion on a 24 pixel block is basically impossible)

Would it be possible to "update" not that the mod needs updating, (some of the cadet dynasties might not get the traits, because the dynasty numbers are wrong in the files) but just add additional noble houses to it? Manderlys, Whitehills, Reeds, etc. Instead of just the major Houses?

You can easily edit that yourself. If you check the dynasty numbers you can make sure the trait is given to whatever dynasty you want and if you want to make new bloodlines you can do that too but you need to make the trait-icons and add descriptions and all that but it's not hard. I added a bunch of other houses a while back, I gave a bloodline to every house with a Valyrian steel blade and some houses just because I like them, but I lost the files after an update and couldn't be bothered to redo the icons and all I don't have holy fury yet but with the new bloodline-thing in the game is this mod going to be obsolete? If so I was wondering if it's easy to edit the new bloodline system, I usually add +1 in all skills to the bloodlines to reflect the theoretical access to the best possible education.
