So this has happened in quite a few of my games, and leads to VERY messy borders and politics. It is also entirely inaccurate. I can't imagine the Old Bear making the Night's Watch hereditary, what is he, the Night's King? As such, I imagine this is a glitch?

The succession to The Wall:

'A Game of Thrones' is a user modification for Crusader Kings II not affiliated in anyway with Paradox Interactive or the rights holders to 'Game of Thrones' and 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.
