It has been about 2 years, since i played your awesome mod last time. And I remember, that the duel system was one of the best part of it. But now, it's confusing me. I used to be able (if i had a defence round) to repel an enemy, and maybe get myself wounded, maybe not. And even if i lost a round, i could refuse to yield, and continue to fight. But now? If i'm(or my enemy) getting a defence round, it has only three outcomes, and every one of them is bad: - (I/He) dies. - (I/He) lose(s) an arm and a leg, and the duel ends. - (I/He) yield(s) - and there is no option to refuse. So, what the matter? Why does the duel system get worse?

i think it's because holy fury implemented a duelling system of its own and they just use that now

Well, I’ve thought the same thing. But, then i saw this: i.imgur.com/pHrNken.jpgAnd my opponent was just a wounded after all. It only happened the once.
PS: Well, I finally have found the rules file, and it seems all right. But i have only one more question... Why do i keep getting severely_injured trait every time(by default), when i'm trying to defend myself? That's not normal, is it?

Usually I use the quick attack for strong opponents with combat skill near or over mine, strong attack for comfortably lower skill opponents and the defensive stance only for the weakest opponents, I've never read the files or anything but if I'm right defensive stance is pretty dangerous against stronger opponents.

I think, I understood what you mean. The defensive stance allows me to remain unharmed. Thank you.
