I'm thinking a Darklyn, Tarbeck or Toyne. Or descendants of major Blackfyre Supporters, like House Ball, a descendant of Bittersteel, Reyne. No houses from hundreds of years ago, though that would be cool So I'd argue the Darklyns, Reynes, and Tarbecks are fundamentally DEAD - there are Darkes and Dargoods sure, (might even put some in the GC) and there are one or two Tarbecks in the silent sisters, but if there was ever someone to send assassins to the Golden Company to wipe out a house that slighted them, it would be Tywin or Aerys, it seems to really undermine Tywin's reputation or Aerys' cruelty for example if they let people escape to the Free Cities, Bittersteel is triiiiiicky on the one hand he definitely married, and so you would expect him to have kids, but it would be very strange for him to have had kids and us not to have heard of them - multiple issues that would stem from it in the lore - 1. After Maelys the Monstrous and the Blackfyre male line dies do the Bittersteels become the new pretenders - after all Bittersteel was legitimised too, he was just born after Daemon (who knows maybe when people say the Blackfyres died out in the male line, maybe the female line WAS House Bittersteel - making Varys and (f)Aegon Bittersteels if the theory is true). 2. Why did the Bittersteels not try to claim a hereditary right to lead the Golden Company or at least after the Blackfyres die out - why is lead by Toynes and Stricklands when the descendants of the founder are kicking around? 3. Why have we not heard of a Bittersteel child - the Dunk & Egg books, the GC chapters in recent books, surely someone with a lineage that notable would get mentioned? I like House Ball and Toyne for new scions, I also want to do something similar to the Barrowton and Hornwood inheritance events whereby once Aegon claims the throne he presses all claims to places under his control for the GC - ie Harry Stickland gets his province back and the current holders get demoted back to barons, Franklyn Flowers gets the spare barony in New Barrel the Red Apple Fossoways own (just the barony as his claim is pretty weak), the Peakes in the GC get a few castles back and are sworn to Starpike who regains the high lordship, the Toynes get their lands back, the Lothston gets Harrenhal, the Mudds get Oldstones if colonised etc. All of these would recquire the region actually being under Aegon's control ie if Robb has won the Lothston claimant won't get Harrenhal, if Mace has seceded the Fossoway, Strickland, Peake lands wouldn't be redistributed and so new claimant wars would have to be fought etc. I miiiiight consider say a bastard line of House Reyne or House Tarbeck being in the GC and then being able to reclaim the lands under Aegon and be legitimised but a legitimate member of those houses simply is not alive post Castamere (aside from the silent sisters - GRRM is pretty explicit on that). As for the Balls what are you thinking - descendants of Glendon Flowers or from another line?

No houses from hundreds of years ago, though that would be cool And perhaps a high valyrian that can claim descent from Saera Targaryen, she did have atleast 3 people who claimed descent, all from different fathers and all presumably bastards. The way her story was written just creates room to expand about certain topics.

I like that - I'll also give her a bloodline (chance of fair, chance of ambitious, chance of lusty, chance of proud, sex appeal opinion). As they are bastards they won't be targaryens sooooo names and COA suggestions would be appreciated (the one with the dwarf elephant is a MUST - quartered elephants and dragons perhaps?) - also them being a different house stops them getting a claim bloodline which is useful (the Otherys claim really should be addressed as the Dayne-Martell bloodline was - they were legitimised so them having the bloodline makes sense but they should NOT be able to make claims unless the Targs and Blackfyres are all dead)

Gonna make this the sigil of the bastard of Saera and the Volantene triarch - we don't know if the triarch was an elephant or a tiger so have put one of each lol - any objections/suggestions for a house name - given his descent from Valyria on both side it should be Valyrian sounding,

Here's maybe another asset that can be of use somewere. Named the file to house Qarkosyon, or perhaps house Qarkos, but it can work for anything. OK so in addition to Houses Saerys, Saerynar, and Saerystos who are 3 new High Valyrian dynasties descended from Saera who are in the GC in later bookmarks, I have also added: - A nephew and a brother to Myles Toyne to continue House Toyne, - House Fireball, descended from Glendon that legitimises itself as House Ball if it gets Manderford - House Rainhill, a bastard line of the Reynes descended from Robb Reyne - can legitimise itself but only if it holds Castamere - House Hillbeck, a bastard line of the Tarbecks descended from a random Tarbeck - can legitimise itself but only if it holds Tarbeck Hall - A branch of House Darke that joins the GC after the Defiance I've also make Marq Mandrake actually related to the Mandrakes Any other potential exiles that I have missed?

I've also make Marq Mandrake actually related to the Mandrakes We don't know for sure if the members of the Golden Company are related to the houses of Westeros. Members of the GC can take any name they want to, no questions asked. The Lothston and Mandrake mentioned to be part of the GC might be descended from retainers who once served these houses, or just people who thought the names/backgrounds were cool. You could sign up as Gaemon Targaryen and no one would stop you.

Sure but by that logic there's no reason for the mudds, strongs, toynes, etc to be descended either- Marq mandrake being descended from the House just gives him a better COA, plus his descent is via a younger brother so he's not even in the main line. Also the names almost certainly serve another function - if Aegon conquers Westeros they will all come up to him and say "I am a Lothston, give me back Harrenhal", "I am a Strong give me back our lands on the trident", "I am a Mandrake, give me back my lands" and sure Aegon could quibble and ask if they had any proof of descent but the fact that they just won him a throne would mean he would almost certainly just go along with it, if your Aegon where do you draw the line between someone like the Peakes or Stricklands in the GC who have clear descent and the Mandrakes and Strongs who really don't but are still fighting for you

One of my favorites is one of the dragonlord families, House Belaerys, of course there isn't a lot of info on them, but there's just something about it that I adore. As for westerosi houses, House Darklyn is pretty interesting and the Reynes of course, amongst the ones who are still alive, I'd definitely bring up the Velaryons, Valyrians in all shapes and forms is interesting to me!
