No My CK2 is not on steam. I downloaded thist mod from a direct link, extracted it to documents/paradox/ck2/mod (like any other mod), at launch i check Better Looking Garbs (i dont have any other mod installed, not even AGOT yet and i have all DLCs and they are all enabled), start a game but the portraits haven't changed. I tried run the installer after extraction(also tried extract only the installer), gave the install dir rout, it recognizes all dlcs and says installation complete. Launch game with mod on, and still nothing changed

yes that's the case anything i can do about that? open the descriptor mod with Wordpad or your preffered text program, the first line of text is gonna be something like: name="Better Garbs mod" Take that and replace the "descriptor" name in the file for what is inside that "name=" thing Which means the mod that was called "descriptor" is now called "Better Garbs" or whatever the "name=" was This part is done Now for the "Archive=mod/"… if the mod's zip file you downloaded had the descriptor *and* the folder with files, just rename the folder to whatever you want the mod to be called and replace the "archive=mod/ something something" with the name you gave the folder, it has to be exactly like it is in the folder or the pathing won't work… If it came only with the files, put all files but the descriptor one inside a folder you make with the mod's name, then like i said above, put the folder's name in the archive=mod/ Example: the Novus_graphicus_fixed is something like this in my folder The folder is named novus_graphicus_fixed, so the archive=mod had to be: *archive=mod/novus_graphicus_fixed* Inside the folder are the files that came with it, but the novus_graphicus_fixed.mod stays outside, in the CK2's mod folder Just open the game and it will show up in the mods tab if the pathing is right, all the mods i downloaded that had this problem work now… Also, sorry for the late response and making it sound super complicated, i'm terrible at explaining things, specially since i'm on the Phone so i can't send any screenshots to make it easier to understand.

It says in the original mod's description that the zip should come with an add-on for AGOT and other overhaul mods, which might be complicated if yours only had the mod's files… i'd suggest either you search through this forum to see if there is an AGOT ready version of BLG in here, or if you are only looking for some better faces to replace the Melting-Wax-Looking of the original mod, you could try Tubbs's Better Faces mods, it has a good compatibility with most mods in here and is really well done, i'll download your file to see if my suspicion is right

If there anything you need just look for the spade guy also, the BLG Agot is in the actual mod (i thought it was a separate submod), those other .mod files that say things like "blgccck2+" are patches for other mods, one of those is the Agot one, so you just need to throw all of those in the ck2 mod folder and see which one is it in the mod tab of the Launcher (i can't see which one it is, but i might look for it tomorrow as soon as i'm up) Basically, everything you need is the original BLG on the link and the patch that comes inside the mod's zip, nothing more, nothing less!!!
