I'm with slavic, I own all dlc and main menu is bugged, some of the ages pics are cut in half. As for the music.... Yup bugged too. Very weird considering only 2 of us so far have the issue. Sorry I'm new to this forum thing. The issue is being discussed in the bugs page and I don't know how to delete this.

Having the same issues as the above posters - bugged main menu, etc.
But this is on other mods, too - I think it's related to Paradox's recent patch, not to the mods themselves

Not all abominations of incest gain the abomination of incest modifier (only those whose parents are siblings); for example, if I were to have a child with my niece, daughter, mother or cousin, the child will not be considered an abomination of incest. Could you fix this?

Could you fix this? Cousins having a child shouldn't get the modifier, Tywin and Joanna were cousins and I don't recall any mention of it being frowned upon in any of the books. The other relationships probably should, though.

Me, - the images of the big scenarios are cut in two when I want to begin a part - certain events as this one "76104 / 76107" (to reveal the similar truth of an illegitimate character) or still "cadet.1" do not work ... . - I have the tab "didacticial" also which is not below the others in the welcome screen of the mod, but little to the right of the others lost, alone xD ... . - When I want to change the hair of one of my characters, it changes the thorough image of the character when I click on the left arrow to cross of a haircut in others of this direction - At the end of every month there is for a slowing down before passing in the next month, I think that the game saved every month but I did not activate her... - It is not possible any more to change the name of dynasty without losing the blazon of this dynasty ( white blazon) I have the good version (2.8.3.2) ... I don't understand ... help please ...

Is this version incompatible with some DLC? It works very strange for me...strange overlapping music and bugged out starting screen.
The starting screen things is a known bug which will be fixed for the next version. It's purely a cosmetic thing though, there are no ingame issues that I'm aware of, all DLC are compatible.

Is it possible to activate or use all the artifacts from the base game? I just think it would be fun to have access to all weapons.

The council members have less powers/utilities, I remember more and different utilities for some of them.

Don't know if anyone else has this issue or not, but images one and two on the era loading screen are cut in half for me; ie only the left side loads. Don't know if this is a bug or an issue with the images themselves.

I'm a huge fan of your guys' mod - it's simply one of the best mods for any game I've ever played. That being said, I have a few constructive suggestions for you guys to look into before the next update.
1. Not being able to fully control the marriages of the Prince of Dragonstone's children. That's a huge gamebreaker for playing the long game as the Targaryens. The same goes for naming these children - too often I end up with a King three generations down the line with a ridiculous name. 2. Young women rulers who are betrothed very quickly "marry" local nobles/random courtiers, even at absurdly young ages, after the betrothal is struck. This is particularly bad for Dorne, where women Martells inherit quite frequently. One further caveat: I've seen Oberyn marry Arianne more times than I can count. 3. In general, sometimes random marriages happen with children. Also, sometimes children refuse to marry or break every betrothal. Might be a mechanical issue with the game, or might be intentional. Sometimes I see the characters have the "prude" modifier. 4. The Dothraki are simply OP - they unite pretty much every playthrough, sometimes several times, and sometimes quite soon. The same can be said of the Wildlings beyond the Wall, and the Night's Watch eventually falls fairly frequently. Neither of these things should be an every playthrough sort of thing - both groups are supposed to be extremely difficult to unite. This is all helped by the breakup upon the leader's death, but it's still a bit too frequent. 5. Lords should NOT be able to inherit/conquer holdings outside of their region in any bookmark except "The Bleeding Years." For example, I see Westerlands lords inherit/conquer holdings in the Iron Islands/Reach pretty often. I've sometimes seen the Lord Paramount whose holdings are jeopardized requests a change from the Iron Throne in that regard (only for vassalage, not ownership; this event happened to me by the Tully lord for the Blue Fork after Aegon's Conquest, as it was still sworn to the Iron Islands), but such a thing should not be allowed at all. Furthermore, that event doesn't seem to happen for baron-level holdings. The organizational structure of the Iron Throne as it stands in the books should be pretty hardset. At the least, there could be some feature for that in the game setup. 6. Dragon mechanics in general could use a little touchup, though they're pretty usable as it stands. Particularly, dragon taming could use some work. I usually only see dragons go to Dragonstone, and it seems characters have to be in Dragonstone in order to tame those dragons, though I may be completely wrong. 7. Buildings, troop levels, supply limits, upgrading holdings, etc. could all use a little work. I still fault Paradox for not adding an easier way to construct buildings in provinces - the process is so tedious. 8. The Free Cities conduct several slave raids on the Seven Kingdoms during practically every megawar, which makes for extremely drawn out realm fracturing. Sometimes, the Iron Throne can't even intervene when the megawar itself is over. This probably wouldn't happen that often, if at all. Either way, the Iron Throne should definitely be able to intervene in these slave raids after the megawar is concluded. 9. Maybe add some more depth to the ACoK and AFFC bookmarks - more events, choices, etc. More depth vis-a-vis R+L=J would be awesome. More bookmarks in general would be cool; I'm sure the upcoming release of Fire and Blood's first volume will have plenty of material on other potential time periods to cover. 10. Regents who are landed rulers should have more power. For example, if a Lord Paramount is regent for the Iron Throne, they should be able to raise and command the troops of the Iron Throne. I know they're already allowed to shuffle councilors, arrest people, etc. Yet more power over the military, titles, and possibly marriages might be a good idea. 11. I've occasionally seen one Free City entirely consume another, i.e. Braavos conquers all of Pentos. While possible, such a thing shouldn't be permanent or frequent. 12. While this directly contradicts my previous point, more depth/options in Essos might be a welcome respite from those who grow tired of the entrenched status quo in Westeros. 13. More laws. Perhaps some stuff dealing with the smallfolk - would make for interesting roleplaying, such as Aegon the Unlikely's reforms, or if Rhaegar lives through Robert's Rebellion and inherits the throne. 14. The royal treasury should stay in King's Landing with the Iron Throne - I've seen kings get overthrown but somehow abscond with the entire royal treasury. 15. More high lordships, and maybe make them a little more secure. I've seen them fluctuate all over the place, especially Dragonstone. 16. Friendships should be much more powerful. I've seen friends plot against, arrest, and kill each other in many playthroughs. I even saw Ned Stark plot against Robert, resist arrest, rebel, and get executed by his dear friend. That seems a little far-fetched, however comical and classic CK2/ASOIAF it may be.
Anyhow, I thank you guys for all of your hard work, and I hope you keep doing what you're doing! I'll add anything else as it comes to me.

Just noticed this when I was starting under Robert's rebellion and I can't help wonder how n one ever caught this earlier. In the description of Robert's rebellion, there's a line that says "As all but Balon Greyjoy and Tywin Lannister prepare to declare their allegiances..." but it should read Quellon, as Balon only became Lord of the Iron Islands during Robert's rebellion, not before.

Is the website on the Windows INstaller link ( www.mediafire.com/file/n50yihzsad69wdl/CK2-icefiremod+setup+1.7.1.exe ) safe? Back in July or August I attempted to update and somehow got some Malware from BiteFence and PCAccerlator from the download. I assumed that I just wasn't careful enough and clicked the wrong download button (not really sure why the files are hosted on sites that have advertisements that try to trick you into downloading Malware) but after finally deciding not to be lazy got all that garbage removed and wanted to re-download and had some spam advertisement for Roblox pop up.
