Do you like fancy nicknames? I'm just kidding, everyone do. Enjoy your life as 'the Arrogant Wolf" or "the Uchaste Swan"!
Current features: -characters can use their dynasties' or their parents' dynasties' symbols -around 110 dynasties with symbols (currently most known, Northman and Valeman ones) -illegitims' dynasties can inherit symbols from the founders' parents' dynasties
Planned features: -more dynasties with symbols -(better) event for landless characters which gives them nicknames -a system for dynasties without symbols to gain one -more (I'm open for ideas
It works with AGOT 1.7 (with 1.6.1 too).
Currently I often update it so if you are not using Steam, check this page or the Workshop often.
Please report any really hideous nicknames, bugs or preformanc issues! If you really want to help me, you can take a look at the dynasty symbol list and correct me or suggest new ones here.
!!!WARNING!!! If you use Steam Workshop then before you play you should open "YourDocuments\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\agot nicknames+.zip" and copy the "AGOT Nicknames+.mod" into your mod folder and overwrite the default one!
I love this mod, been using it with congenial overhaul playing as House Drace a custom house from that mod and at first the mod was working my characters had dragon on the end of thier nickname's now 100 years into my game for the last 2 generations of my characters they have stopped using dragon on the end and im not sure why.
Nevermind I see I had the game rule to only use dynasty nickname set at 50%

Hey how do I add new symbols to dynasties, I know how to add already existing tags to a dynasty in a save file, but for example it annoys me that the Freys are Runes and if I were to create a new Bridgekeeper tag how would I add it so it works in the system and is present from the beginning of the playthrough?
'A Game of Thrones' is a user modification for Crusader Kings II not affiliated in anyway with Paradox Interactive or the rights holders to 'Game of Thrones' and 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.
